Welcome to the El Toro Judo Club

Making Falling Fun!

Conveniently located in South Orange County, California, the El Toro Judo Club is a great place to learn and practice the Olympic sport of Judo. Led by Keith Chu (6th Dan), our dojo provides a safe and fun environment for the whole family. Classes are held on weekday evenings and during the
day on the weekend.

We are always happy to have visitors. If you are curious about the sport of Judo, please stop by
to watch a class or take a free introductory lesson.

(7/22/24)  Promotion season continues with Hideyoshi achieving his Green Belt and Musashi getting his Green with Stripe. Well done to them both.

(7/1/24)  Two more promotion announcements. Hayee and Kate both promoted to Green belt. Congratulations and well done.

(6/2/24) More congratulations to go to Joey. Joey was awarded the El Toro Judo Club Outstanding Judoka at the 2024 Nanka Installation and Awards Banquet. With over 200 in attendance, Joey was rubbing shoulders with Olympic judo medalists and 10th Dan Judoka. Great job..

(5/17/24) Congratulations to Jayden on promoting up to Orange Belt. Well Done.

(5/5/24) It was a very Happy Birthday for Joey, as he displayed a confident and impressive performance at the Nanka West Coast Invitation Tournament. Joey ploughed his way through his division by winning with three straight Ippons to take First Place. Congratulations and a very Happy Birthday to Joey. 

(4/20/24) First of this years promotion tests were held on Friday. Congratulations to Lucas D. and Jacob for earning their yellow belt.  Also Michael, Sebouh and Joey were all promoted to the rank of Orange with Stripe. On the Adult front Hana has been promoted to Sankyu (Brown belt). Congratulations and very well done to you all.

(2/4/24) Congratulations to Musashi for taking First Place in the Green Belt Division of the 93rd San Fernando Valley Kohaku tournament. Musashi was unbeaten even fighting bigger kids. He was joined by his brother Hideyoshi and team mate Joey. This was Joey's first tournament and he did the club proud. Well done all.

(9/25/23) More success for Musashi and Hideyoshi as they competed  at last Sunday's Nanka Fall Development Tournament at Westminster High School. Hideyoshi taking 3rd place and Musashi took 1st place. Well done to them both.
